When former child soldier and refugee Baba Lenga saves sex worker Freddy Lane from sexual assault in a nightclub alleyway, it sets the pair on a murderous path together. It’s up to DS Lola Franks and her new boss, DI Jackson Mendy, to track them down and stop them.
